From the photos the printing on left side of barrel is not really readable, but under the microscope I could tell it was 32 S&W CTGE - I'm 'pretty sure of the 32 as lower part of the '3' and '2' are missing. The caliber is printed on left side of barrel, which, I understand, started in 1905. 303' - I did not slug barrel, but it seems to be around. 32 S&W CTGE to be the 'short' version of. 314' forcing cone at end of cylinder, which seems to confirm printing on side of barrel of. The hammer firing pin is flat, not the round cone type pin. I would appreciate any info as to manufacture date and history of this model pistol.
